(Adapted from Matthew 7:7 NLT; Galatians 6:9; 1 Corinthians 13:5)

"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you."

The word fret means to worry or to wear away by constant wear or rubbing. So to fret is to constently think, speak and believe all the reasons why you can’t do something wearing away your faith. Fretting is in total opposition to Faith. To have faith in God is to constantly think, speak and believe all the reasons why you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. It is to pray and keep praying without fainting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: 

for in due season we shall reap,

if we faint not.

Every promise God gives us, in His word and through a personal prophetic word, will be tested. We will be recipients of those promises if we are not moved by our 5 senses that attempt to ware away our faith and cause us to give up on believing God for the fulfillment of his promises.

Thank you for the promise that the one who asks and keeps on asking and the one who will not faint will receive. I hold tightly to the promise that you will answer me in due time.

Devotion: Pray And Keep On Praying

Let us not lose heart

And grow weary and faint from doing what is right

For in due time and at the appointed season,

We will reap if we do not faint

Verse:

So then as we have occation and opportunity

Let us do good to all people, be a blessing

Especially to those of the household of faith,

Your fellow believers
