Rudeness is a lack of good training of the required skills of life. This is not to say that you can blame anyone that had a hand in your childhood raising for your rude behavior. It means that you have not trained yourself to walk in love. When you learn to walk in love consistently, you develop a form of godly etiquette or good manners. This behavior may also be referred to as holy living. I like to use the word etiquette because it doesn't sound so religious. It is down to earth good manners and it is established in our lives by the breeding of God's Word into our personality.
Rudeness is behavior lacking the refinement that the Word of God produces in our lives. It is a good thing to allow God to refine you. When gold is refined, all of the impurities are filtered out and a wonderful gem is left. That's what the Word does in our personalities. It filters out the impurities of rudeness and refines our personalities to the delicate likeness of Christ.
Rudeness is offensive and discourteous in manner and actions because of a lack of training on our part. But when we allow God to work in our lives, we turn the rudeness into good behavior!
Father, I live my life by the Golden Rule. Thank you for your grace on my life that enables me to treat others the way that I want to be treated. Your grace is all that I need and is all sufficient to help me to see people through your eyes and treat them right.

LOVE IS NOT RUDE
Devotion: Love Is Not Rude
(Adapted from 1 Corinthians 13:5)
Verse:
Rudeness is a lack training
Concerning the walk of love,
A lack of etiquette and learning
To know how to be a part of
The body of believers
To respect everyone in every way,
To put away the lies of the deceiver,
And to know that you and I can change our ways
Chorus:
Love is not rude, love does not have bad manners
Love is not rude, love always thinks of others
Love is not rude, love keeps the golden rule
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
Bridge:
Love won’t take you for a ride
On yet another guilt trip
Love won’t bring you down to size
And make you feel little
And make it self feel big
